What is PMI PMP® renewal fee?
PMP renewal fees for active PMI Members is USD 60 and exired Non-Members is USD 150. Being a PMI member saves you money on renewal fee and other PMI certificates exam fee.
What happens if missed renewal of my PMP® on time?
Your certification status changes to expire and suspended Mode for 1 year, and if you still don’t renew, after that it becomes expire and you must retake the PMP exam.
Do I need to retake the PMP exam to renew?
No, you just need to earn 60 PDUs and pay the renewal fee to PMI, USA —no exam required.
Can I renew early before my cycle ends?
Yes, you can renew as soon as you’ve earned 60 PDUs in your PMI account, even before your cycle expiry date.
How many PDUs are required for PMP certificate renewal process?
You need to earn 60 PDUs for PMP renewal within every 3-year cycle. At least 35 must be in Education and up to 25 can be in Giving Back.
What is the PMP renewal process?
Earn 60 PDUs, log them in PMI's CCRS portal, pay the renewal fee, and your PMP certification will be renewed same day for another 3 years.
